FAST FACTS:

Fisher started racing quarter midgets at age five. She was a three time WKA National Champion.

She is the youngest person to qualify and compete in Indy Racing League history. She made her debut in the Mall.com 500 at the Texas Motor Speedway on October 17, 1999. After mechanical difficulties, she finished in 25th place.

In 2000, she became the third woman in history to debut at the Indianapolis 500.

In 2001, Fisher took second place at the Miami Speedway, the best IRL finish ever logged by a woman.
